Dr. Lawrence Lambroia

Dr. Lawrence Lambroia was born in Brooklyn, grew up in the East Northport area, and is a graduate of La Salle Military Academy. He received his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University where he majored in Biology with minors in Italian and Spanish and went on to earn his dental degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1983. During that same year, he became an associate at the progressive, high-quality dental practice of Dr. Andre Abbate. He mentored under Dr. Abbate for 18 months before purchasing the practice in East Meadow where he currently practices today. Since then, he has dedicated his 30-year career to maintaining and improving the dental health of all his patients.

Dr. Lambroia is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society, where he has served on the Board of Directors, as well as held the position of Chairman of the Committee for Access to Dental Care. He maintains memberships in several local study groups and is a member of the American Society of Forensic Odontology. Dr. Lambroia is also an active member of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce where he has served on their Board of Directors. He has been recognized as a Top Dentist by Long Island Pulse Magazine as well as the Consumers Research Council of America.

He was an avid runner, completing more than 20 marathons, including the New York marathon.

Dr. Lambroia is a firm believer in taking tasks to successful completion and is always up for a challenge. He was an avid runner, completing more than 20 marathons. He achieved a personal best of 2 hours and 45 minutes at the New York City Marathon which placed him in the top 1% of finishers that year. He also achieved several Top 10 finishes in the Long Island Marathon.

Dr. Lambroia and his wife Mary, a massage therapist and office staff member, reside in East Northport with their two children. The doctor and his wife are both avid amateur photographers and their family is very involved at their local church. Dr. Lambroia is a die-hard Buckeye football and basketball fan, as well as a lover of all things baseball. When his son began playing baseball he put his marathon running days aside to become a Little League and travel baseball coach. In his spare time, you can find him on the baseball field or at the gym helping to develop the skills of young, aspiring baseball players, at a game cheering one of his favorite teams, or spending time with friends and family.
